Balocco, (Puppet) 1985

The Italian word Balocco translated means ‘Puppet.’ This is fitting for the artist whose core protests are rooted in socialism. To be a tool of the regime leads down the path of conformity. Also of note, is the two figures encase the colors of the Italian flag (red, green, white) which makes a bold statement towards Angeli’s own homeland
