Diego Palsago sums up some of his past experiences of growing up in the urban settings of Venice with this piece. The medley of brushstrokes and surface textures represent the often chaotic nature of living in a metropolis cramped people and constructs. The black and white color palette may represent the melting pot of dwellers within. The splotches of red are symbolic of those did not make the cut in a busy world.
