This is one of Bachis’s works in her Yakuza series featuring the recapitulated depiction member of the infamous Japanese organized crime syndicate. The subject is also one of the few males featured in her work, but general Asian themes often inhabit her pieces. There is a sparse silhouette sprouting from the figure’s back wielding a Kalashnikov (AK-47) and raising his arm in triumph. The surrounding pink may symbolize the love of one's self or respect which is also one of the organization’s maxims.
