Paessagio, (Landscape), 1984

A fire burns fiercely within Angeli’s soul which is also the centerpiece of this painting. The dark bomber planes streaking across the canvas as black letters rain down. He met many fellow artists during his life, many of which shared the same passions as he did, which in turn helped inspire one another through their art. Some spoke different languages than he did, but war, poverty, and creativity are all universal themes.
