Autoritrattio in Frammenti (Self-portait of Scraps)

The faded woman hidden amongst the painted “scraps” is the late Spanish painter Frida Kahlo. A tribute of sorts by Lidia Bachis as well as a subtle statement towards empowered women (via the images of gun toting freedom fighters). There’s a minimal color palette that permeates every facet on the canvas.
