[SIGNED] The Persistence of Memory

The famous piece by Dali, represented his theory of softness and hardness. The artist was incorporating an image of a Camembert (a soft cheese) melting in the sun. The melting time pieces may have also represented the passage of time. Ants were often incorporated in his works as a symbol of decay.
