Stop the Time! / Candy and Cookies

Italian artist Giorgio Gost’s sweet treat collage mounts everything from candy to cookies to even tea, onto an off white canvas/frame and seals all of it inside a thick block of resin. What he is conveying in this work is a sort of time capsule, frozen for eternity (Stop the Time!) and to be studied by all future generations.
