Manera’s portrayal of American commercialism (and perhaps monopolies in general) is expressed using the earliest incarnation (1934) of the American Airlines logo. This collage of paint, logo design, and the flight of commercial jets during stormy chaos catches the eye and turns the cogs of the mind as an all thought-provocative work of art..
