Muro (Wall)

The depiction of this ‘wall’ is one interpretation of the breakdown of primer, paint, and other coatings (both protective and cosmetic) among buildings. The original checkerboard pattern is beginning to emerge from beneath all the fading layers that once used to mask. The often yellowing of the parabolic arches and column and the large black smudge are further examples of the ravages of age.
