Foot Bridge in Venice

The Venice scene unfolding here is a far more robust and concentrated outing. While the swatch of sky, columns of buildings, and the two stripes of street in they continue the faded color scheme, the docked boats and especially the foot bridge, are swimming in bold blues and purples. The reason for this could very well be merely a cloudy day or perhaps Pantaleoni was merely perfecting his shadow and reflection work.
