Green Patterns

The greenish tree trunk pattern infuses familiar elements from Pantaleoni’s other abstract paintings such as the thick brushstrokes pouring down the canvas, the hovering black circle, and the washed out blanket of green mixing into the crevices. Although the composition is familiar by now, it’s nonetheless an important step in this series.
