I'll Burn This Day

One of the more interesting aspects of this work is its very pop art-like sensibility. The bold, radiant highlights surrounding the model, the mass of orange and red smoldering over her pinned up hair mixed with green strands, and the purple background all intertwine to display the illusion of what it might be like living inside a lava lamp. And let’s not overlook the sheer expression of sass on her face with the parted lips and that dagger stare. It’s as if she’s proclaiming that, “Oh yes, I promise that you will burn this day.” It’s all so incredibly provocative and one of the many stand-out pieces of this series..  Size : 27.5 x 19.5
