An immense multi-colored dam has been cobbled together from salvaged, mismatched bits of stone and brick manages to keep the city’s irrigated river at bay and from flooding into the blue valley below. You can view the towering mass for miles around and despite it’s somewhat unorthodoxed design, it remains another bold piece of artistic expression from Ideo Pantaleoni.
