Mosaic II

Layer upon layer, each individual cell has been touched by color in some way, even if it’s just a mere splatter. One has to wonder whether this was all calculated deliberately by Pantaleoni or simply the result of some heated frenzy that emerged deep from within his artistic soul during a one of his studio sessions. The ever present blue tones creep into every nook of the painting, particularly in the four corners of the canvas. Also, notice the colors growing lighter as we approach the middle area.
