Defiance

To say that Pantaleoni captured a raw sense of defiance in this piece would be a gross understatement. And nothing drives that point home more than the rebellious expression displayed upon the model’s face. The parted lips, the low resting eyelids, and even her golden locks all look as though they’re suspended in the wind. She’s battling it all with an unmatched confidence. Once again, the colors follow the common pattern of the others in the series, with the exception of the color green which is far more prevalent, particularly in the draped clothing.
