The Dinner Party

After a multi-course meal, the dinnerware is removed from the white table cloth. What remains, could have looked like this piece, the stained rings of the plates of much food and drink. Sauces dribbling down the sides of bowls, rectangular serving plates piled with succulent morsels, and fine wine glasses occasionally spilled by guests too engaged in conversation to notice. The piece will spark an engaging exchange of dialogue when displayed in one’s home (or dining room).
