Born in 1947 in Asmara, Enitrea, a country in the Horn of Africa.  He is a painter, sculptor and actor.

As a painter he participated in Quadrennial in Rome in 1996.  In 2011 he exhibited at the York Hall, LIV collateral event of the Venice Biennale held in Rome.
